Nice to meet you. I’m Erin.
My love for makeup began in an unexpected place. I spent three years as a drag queen, where I was inspired by the people around me to experiment, push boundaries, and play with colour. That time shaped my creative approach and taught me not to shy away from bold, expressive looks.
A couple of years later, I graduated with an HND in makeup artistry from Edinburgh College. During my studies, I explored a wide range of styles, including wedding, editorial, and catwalk makeup, while building a strong understanding of colour theory and all the small details that help to really bring a look together.
I’ve been working professionally in the makeup industry since 2020. After gaining valuable experience as a makeup artist at John Lewis, I decided to take the leap and start my own freelance business.
Today, I specialise in makeup that feels creative, colourful, and a little outside the norm. Whether you’re drawn to something subtle with an edge or something bold and expressive, my aim is always to help you feel confident, comfortable, and completely yourself.
I’m really proud to create a safe, inclusive, and judgment free space for anyone who’s into beauty. I’ve done a lot of work with LGBT Youth Scotland, which has helped me learn more about skincare and makeup ingredients that work well for people on hormone therapy
I love anything quirky, edgy, a bit weird, and alternative, and I will absolutely ramble about new music or a great album if given the chance. I also genuinely love hearing people talk about what they care about, what’s important to them, and their own life experiences
